Your Voice Matters

The Florida Independent Living Council (FILC) is hosting two upcoming virtual Public Forums to gather feedback on Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services in Florida.

These conversations will help shape the next State Plan for Independent Living and provide an opportunity for individuals with disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, and community partners to share their experiences and ideas. Participants will also get a preview of a new PCA Finder website designed to help connect people with personal care assistance resources.

ID: A light blue and white flyer promoting Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Public Forums hosted by the Florida Independent Living Council. The headline reads, "Join Us! Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Public Forums." Two virtual forum options are listed: Wednesday, August 12, from 3:00–4:00 PM or Thursday, August 13, from 6:00–7:00 PM. On the right side of the flyer is an illustration of a laptop displaying a video conference with nine participants.

Below, the flyer invites attendees to provide feedback on Florida's need for more accessible and equitable personal care assistance services to support independent living in the community. It also notes that participants will receive a preview of a new PCA Finder website, www.pcamatch.org. The Florida Independent Living Council logo appears on the left, and two QR codes at the bottom provide access to online registration for each forum.
