Because of the incredible generosity of our community, the Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida (CIL) raised $10,100 during this year’s Amazing Give fundraiser!
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our campaign, helped spread awareness, and rallied behind our mission to empower people with disabilities to achieve their goals for independence.
The Amazing Give, an annual community-wide fundraising event hosted by The Junior League of Gainesville, brings people together to support local nonprofit organizations and the important work they do throughout our region.
This year, our community came together to raise $10,100 in support of CIL’s programs, services, and ongoing efforts to promote accessibility, inclusion, and independence throughout North Central Florida.

At CIL, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live independently, participate fully in their community, and make decisions about their own lives.
The funds raised through The Amazing Give will help support our programs, services, and operational needs, allowing us to direct resources where they are needed most.
From connecting individuals with assistive technology and accessible transportation to providing independent living skills training, advocacy, and community resources, our work is centered on removing barriers and creating opportunities for people with disabilities.
