Disability Awareness Expo Coming to Gainesville on July 29th

The CIL encourages community members to attend the upcoming Disability Awareness Expo on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the MLK Multipurpose Center in Gainesville.

Hosted by Alachua County and the City of Gainesville’s Office of Equity & Inclusion, this free event brings together organizations, service providers, and community resources dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting greater accessibility and inclusion throughout our community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local programs and services, connect with community partners, and explore resources available to individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and advocates. The Alachua County Health Department will also be providing free A1C testing and giveaways during the event.
